Piano Note Challenge
Learn your way around the keyboard: name a highlighted key or find the key for a given note.
Set up your keyboard challenge
Level 3 asks for three notes together. Black keys use a single sharp or flat name.
Which note is highlighted?
Find your bearings: C is the white key just before the group of two black keys. F is just before the group of three black keys. Black keys are labelled with a single sharp or flat name. For finding notes, either octave is accepted. In groups of three, name numbered keys from left to right or select all three requested keys.

Piano Note Challenge: a quick guide
Your goal
Get to know the keyboard: name the highlighted keys or find the notes you are given.
Try an example
Find two black keys together. The white key just to their left is C. The next white keys are D and E. This pattern repeats along the keyboard.
Easy to mix up
Check whether you are looking at two black keys or three. A sharp goes up one half step; a flat goes down one. Follow the note name in the question.
A tip for your next go
Start with white notes. When those feel familiar, add black notes, then try groups of three.
