Rhythm Echo
Listen to a rhythm, then tap it back. Build pulse, timing and rhythmic memory.

·
Listen, then echo
Listen to the four-beat count-in, then tap once at the start of each note. You do not need to hold a tap for a long note. Choose Relaxed for more timing leeway or Precise for a tighter challenge. Missing or extra taps affect your point. Built-in speakers or wired headphones work best; Bluetooth can delay the sound. In Test/Homework, you can hear each example three times and submit one recording.

Rhythm Echo: a quick guide
Your goal
Listen to the rhythm, then tap it back. Keep the beat going in your head while you wait for each new note.
Try an example
For four quarter notes in 4/4, tap “1, 2, 3, 4”. If beat 2 has two eighth notes, count “1, 2-and, 3, 4” and tap on both “2” and “and”.
Easy to mix up
A long note only needs one tap at its start. Keep counting while it lasts, and avoid adding extra taps to catch up.
A tip for your next go
Use the count-in to get ready. After checking, look at the colored notes to see which taps matched. There is some timing leeway, so aim for a steady rhythm rather than perfect precision.
